The Manor School is a National Support School and the Executive Head Teacher, Beverley Martin is a National Leader of Education. In addition to her role at the school, she is an Advisory Head Teacher for Wiltshire. As a school we have three specialist learning centres supporting children with special educational needs (particularly autism) and a high percentage of children with special educational needs in main stream. Whilst we have a fantastic building and are located in beautiful and expansive grounds, the school is located in an area of deprivation in the Wiltshire market town of Melksham. We have an outstanding governing body and work in close partnership with the local authority and a number of schools in the community and across Wiltshire.

For more information, a full person specification and an application form, please download the relevant information from our website, www.themanorschool.com.    Completed applications forms should be returned with a covering letter marked for the attention of Mrs Jane Crudge, Personal Assistant to the Head Teacher, quoting the job reference.

  • Closing date for application forms is 5.00pm on Thursday 1st July 2010.
  • Shortlisting will take place on Thursday 1st July 2010.
  • Interviews will take place on Tuesday 6th July 2010.

Visits are warmly welcomed. Please contact the Head Teacher's PA, Jane Crudge on 01225 700150.

The Manor School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All applicants will be subject to a full Criminal Records Bureau check before appointment is confirmed.
